Hiring! Interactive Designer
Concentric Studio is searching for an exceptional interactive designer to help create stunning, innovative and highly usable interactive experiences.
As an Interactive Designer, you will be primarily responsible for developing and/or extending the creative direction on a range of select client projects. A strong understanding and passion for typography, grid systems and usability is requisite for the job.
The candidate must have the following qualifications:
• 5-6+ years of prior experience assisting in the design of mid-to-large-scale, globally recognizable brands within an interactive agency OR relevant education
• Annoyingly pixel-perfect (Highly organized, accurate and detail oriented)
• Well versed on the latest with regard to new media and technology, typography, color theory, iconography, user interaction
• Expert knowledge in Photoshop & Illustrator
• Ability to take direction and follow established creative styles
• Professional & effective under pressure and within tight deadlines
• A *strong* portfolio to demonstrate past experiences. Portfolio must reflect a clean, fresh, user focused design style
• A design related degreeHuge Plus
• Base knowledge of HTML & CSS. A huge plus if you can build non-functioning front-end templatesPluses
• Any other type of creative interests—photography, illustration, printmaking, letterpress, print design, brand development… etc…
• Web development background
• Flash experience
